The Vodia PBX customer-premises-equipment (CPE) licenses are available in different editions. Each edition is available with 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, 256, 512 and 1024 simultaneous calls. Inbound, outbound and internal calls all count as calls.
The PBX is available as an annual subscription or as a permanent license. Subscriptions are a convenient way to license the PBX without upfront investments. Vodia offers different payment options for subscriptions on a monthly, quarterly, semi-annual or annual basis. Permanent licenses are suitable for customers that want the safety of a paid license; they can be combined with subscriptions for receiving software updates beyond the first year after purchase.

As companies grow, their requirements with the phone system grow as well. Upgrading a subscription can be done without having to restart the PBX, and the existing subscription will be prorated. Downgrading subscriptions is possible at the end of the subscription term. Permanent licenses also need to be upgraded, where the price for the previous license will be credited during the purchase.
In order to upgrade from an existing extension-based license, customers can switch to an annual license. Those licenses will keep their permanent status for the selected number of calls. Customers may also choose to continue the maintenance plan associated with their license without the concurrent call model.
