Release Notes 5.4.1

Polycom provisioning. The outbound proxy for the newer Polycom models in the template was stuck on TLS, even if the domain setting was set to use TCP or UDP. Also there is a limitation with the number of BLF keys that are available on Polycom phones; the PBX now supports speed dial keys to mitigate the problem.

Grandstream support. The support for more Grandstream models was improved; more button functionality are available now.

Akuvox. We have added Akuvox to the list of supported devices.

Hanging Call. There was a case that could cause a hanging call in the PBX under circumstances that should normally not happen; however there were obviously cases where it did happen; now the PBX will properly clear those calls.

Cell phone inclusion. The inclusion of cell phones was problematic when the cell phone did not pick up the call or did not confirm the call with a button. This could cause siginficant problems with the ACD, but also with the auto attendant and the hunt groups.

Hangup log. When a user triggers a call disconnect from the web interface, the PBX now writes a log. This helps tracking down hangup problems which seem to be random.

Date. There were still some places where the date was in the last year; also the customization in the hosted mode was not complete.

HELO. When an email server does not support EHLO, the PBX was not falling back to HELO.

Domain logging. The categories DNS and billing were missing in the domain mode.

SRTP flag. We added the possibility to provision SRTP settings only when there is a secure transport layer. This avoids a lot of problems with certain devices.

Loopback. Loopback calls can now also be triggered selectively with user@domain in the dial plan.

User web interface view. There was a file excluded in the build that should be there.

Failover. In the hosted PBX, there is a new failover mechanism available that automatically starts up the secondary server when the first becomes unavailable.

Action URL. The username and password fields are now available for each action URL seperately.

Trunk port. The trunk destination port was ignored in previous versions.

Windows file names. The PBX was generating file names that are unacceptable in Windows. This was particulary problematic when recording calls that had a star code in it.

12/24 hour. The readout of times now better fits the local country rules.
