Release Notes 5.3.2
Yealink Template: We have switched the default transport layer from UDP to TCP. This can handle large packets better than UDP bcause of the UDP fragmentation problem in SIP. Also the Yealink phone template detection was hardcoded before for TFTP, which has been remoted in this version.
snom Phone Template: The emergency numbers are not propagated into the phone, and the time and date format now depends on the country code instead of the speech settings.
Escene RPS: We have added the Escene central remote provisioning service. This is only of limited value, as the Escene template itself is not included yet, but this will follow in later releases.
Auto Attendant: The auto attendant did not read the extension setting weather to use 180 without SDP or 183 with SDP, and was always sending 180. This change was made in order to simplify the ZRTP endpoint negotiation, however was causing new issues. We reverted back to the previous behavior. ZRTP endpoints must start the negotiation after receiving 200 Ok, not after receiving early media.
Conference Invitation When the PBX was to invite participants into the conference, it was doing it over and over again. Also the seperator for the participants was a semicolon which was hard to guess; we have changed it to a space character as it is in most lists.
External Call Recording Tools: We have added a site and customer recording setting that can be included in the recordings file name. This is useful for external tools that are picking up recordings and send them into a seperate recording tool.
Trunks: We have added Time Warner as provider and did some fine tuning on engin.
Click to Dial: Click to dial could be confusing at times. We have cleaned that part of the code up, so that the first leg of the call works similar to the second leg of an inbound call.
WebRTC: The latest edition of Chrome and Mozilla changed the media type, which was incompatible to previous versions and causing WebRTC to fail.
SimpleCDR: Most tools from the RS232 times for collecting CDR from PBX expect a continuous TCP connection. The PBX now keeps the TCP connection up and does not disconnect it when the record was delivered. This is a behavioral change, please make sure that if you are using that feature that your tool can handle it that way.
Default Button Profiles: The default button profiles are now defined in a XML file, so that new models can be added easily.
Fax DID: Extensions can now set a DID number that will be routed directly to the mailbox for FAX detection.
CDR: When using the reset button to delete the whole configuration, some CDR records were not deleted.
